EMILY LEDFORD LAWRENCE, JD

Trust Principal

Emily Ledford Lawrence has more than 40 years of experience in Estate Planning and Trust Administration. Emily graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1977 subsequent to having received a BA in Political Science with distinction. She worked in a large regional bank trust company for 16 years prior to joining Goldberg & Simpson, PSC, a Louisville law firm, in 1994 where she became a partner in 1998. Emily joined the Glenview Trust Company in 2004 as an Administrative Principal.

Emily is past president of the Estate Planning Council of Louisville and the Women Lawyers Association. She is a member of the KBA (former chair of investment committee) and the LBA (former member of the board of the LBA Foundation). Emily also is an alumna of the Leadership Louisville Class of 1991 and the Bingham Fellows Class of 2007.

Currently, Emily serves on the Executive Committee and board of Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, Inc. and is a member of Second Presbyterian Church. Emily has served on several civic boards, including The Kentucky Derby Festival, The Kentucky Derby Festival Foundation (chair),The Junior League of Louisville (President), Cabbage Patch Settlement House, Cedar Lake Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Baptist Hospital Foundation and a Ruling Elder for Session of Second Presbyterian.
