EMILY A. DAUNHAUER, JD, LLM (“EMMY”)

Planning Principal

Emmy joined the Glenview Trust Company in 2024 as a Planning Principal with a focus on tax planning and estate administration.

Emmy earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky J. David Rosenberg College of Law with magna cum laude distinction in 2018. She then went on to receive an Executive Masters of Law in Taxation from New York University in 2021.

Prior to joining Glenview, Emmy specialized her legal practice on the taxation of high-net-worth individuals, privately-held businesses, and tax-exempt organizations. This included developing sophisticated estate plans and guiding businesses through formation, reorganization, merger, and acquisition. Emmy also assisted charities, foundations, and social welfare organizations obtain federal tax-exempt status and navigate the complex regulatory landscape of operation.

Now in her role as a Planning Principal, Emmy utilizes her legal and tax experience to craft a unique financial plan for each client which supports their personal, business, and charitable goals and alleviates their specific concerns.

Prior to law school, Emmy graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Agriculture, Food, and Environment with a Bachelor of Science in Equine Science and Management and a minor in Business. A Louisville native and Sacred Heart Academy graduate, Emmy remains connected to the community by serving as on the YMCA Camp Piomingo Board of Advisors. Outside of the office, Emmy spends her time competing in lower-level Eventing with her Quarter Horse, George.
