Jim Moore brings an extensive background in finance and investments to his clients at The Glenview Trust Company. His experience of the past 42 years includes accounting, financial planning, investment consulting and portfolio management for both institutions and individuals.
His career began with three years at Ernst and Ernst, an international accounting firm. He then joined Meidinger and Associates, where he served as the company’s financial planner before moving into their institutional consulting group. In that capacity, Mr. Moore assisted client corporations in setting investment objectives, monitoring investment performance and selecting investment managers.
Prior to joining Glenview Trust, Jim spent over 15 years with PNC Bank, rising to senior vice president of PNC Advisors. His primary responsibilities included portfolio and relationship management for some of the bank’s largest family clients.
Jim holds a BBA degree from Eastern Kentucky University in accounting. He received his MBA degree in business from the University of Louisville. He previously held the CPA designation. Jim currently is a member of the Eastern Kentucky University Foundation Board of Trustees.
