Artie is a Trust Professional with Glenview Trust and has extensive experience in serving individual, trust and estate clients.
Before joining Glenview, Artie was a partner with Todd and Johnson, LLP, a boutique tax and trusts and estates law firm located in Columbia, SC. Over the years he has developed an in-depth knowledge of estate taxation, income taxation of trusts and estates, estate planning, and estate and trust administration, including complex litigation.
Artie graduated from the University of Notre Dame, cum laude, in 2004 with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science, and earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2009. After law school, he earned his Master of Laws in Taxation from the University of Florida.
Professionally, Artie is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar Association, and is admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court. Since 2013, Artie has been recognized by Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in the area of taxation. He recently co-edited the Book of Estate Planning Questions and Answers, 3rd Edition (SC Bar 2016) and co-authored Chapter 3, “Choosing a Fiduciary,” in Estate Planning in South Carolina, Volume III (SC Bar 2017).
Artie, his wife, Malorie, and their three children, Artie IV, Leila, and Crosby enjoyed being a part of the southern history and traditions of South Carolina. They are excited to now be a part of the Bluegrass State embracing the history and traditions of the Kentucky Derby and My Old Kentucky Home.
